An AJAY exclusive, our Diamond Shield Cab comes in above the rest. With nearly an infinite amount of color options, durable diamond plate flooring, aluminum extruded framing and walls, it really shines above the competition.
All lifts come standard with a ASME 17.1/18.1 certified interlock system to secure all entry doors before the lift will operate. This ensures that even in states or localities with stringent regulations, our lift will pass inspections.
As an exclusive option, our customers have the choice of selecting our Stainless Steel Slidebolt system for their lift needs
Our standard pushbutton stations are made from welded steel (not plastic like our competitors) with a powder coated finish. This system automatically checks and provides a visual light to ensure all roll-up-doors, entry doors and interlocks are latched before the VRC lift will operate. Our controls are NEMA 12 rated as well. In addition, stainless pushbutton enclosures are available.
Automatically lights up upon entry. AJAY includes an automatic roof mounted car light which automatically lights upon arriving at entry at each landing. This makes your clients feel safer when they are there after hours and as you can see, illuminates the cab completely with room to spare. This was another industry VRC first by AJAY.
All of our lifts come equipped with two large automatic safety cams which are used to stop the carrier car in the case of a sudden drop. Unlike some competitors, our brakes are not single use.
AJAY Equipment is capable of accommodating your building design by offering four different traffic patterns.

In the Z pattern, cargo is loaded and unloaded on opposite sides at each landing.
We offer a C pattern, where the cargo is loaded and unloaded in the same side on both landings.
A right angle pattern allows the cargo is loaded and unloaded on adjacent sides on each landing.
The three-way pattern allows cargo to be loaded and unloaded on all three sides of the cab where necessary.
Many of our competitor lifts use two double acting hydraulic cylinders which are pressurized in both directions. This bi-directional cylinder design uses the motor to both raise and lower the platform. Not only does our competitor’s design put extra wear on the motor and cylinder parts, but it also requires many more parts to run two bi-directional cylinders.
AJAY VRC lifts are only pressurized in one direction which means our motor raises the platform and then uses gravity to lower it. Essentially, our cylinder design puts half the amount of wear on the motor compared to many of our competitors.
With our competitors, each cylinder has 2 packing kits which amounts to 4 total packing kits per lift. Consequently, these extra wear parts will prove to be costly in the long run when additional maintenance is required.
Our cylinder makes use of a single stationary packing kit which is of higher quality and meant to last. This distinctive design reduces the overall cost of maintaining the lift for many years to come.
Some Brand X lifts may even require special concrete pier type footings.
We level the outriggers and anchor them to an existing concrete slab using wedge anchors.

Our crews pay special attention to detail throughout each installation whereas other brands may not.
Not only does the location of the motors and cables make these lifts difficult to repair, but over time, the cables that are utilized in these lifts will stretch, fray and need regular wear adjustments (hence all of the cable clamps). This design utilizing cables and pulleys invokes an irregular stretch of the cable, ultimately causing it to fray or even break under many circumstances.
Our Storage Lifts use heavy duty roller chains which only need minimal if any maintenance at all. Unlike a cable system, these chains are extremely durable and practically never need replacement.
